This is a group for anyone interested in getting out of the house to enjoy life. Going for a walk, out for dinner, out for coffee, out dancing, to a theater, a live show, travel, etc. I started this group because I would like to meet other moms in my neighbohood who would like to socialize and meet new friends. Every time I go to the local coffee shops during the weekday, I notice how almost everyone is staring at their computer screen rather than socializing. The idea here is to change that. I've noticed a lot of people work from home in this part of the East Bay and thought it would be nice to organize the occasional meetup at a local coffee shop to take a break from the screen and meet some new people in the neighborhood.
